The Law Office of Matthew S. Erard is a progressive law practice dedicated to protecting the rights and legal interests of constitutional and civil rights plaintiffs, criminal defendants, workers, tenants, and personal injury victims throughout and beyond the state of Michigan.

Attorney Matthew Erard is a graduate of Wayne State University Law School and former law clerk for the ACLU of Michigan and Sugar Law Center for Economic and Social Justice. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Ralph M. Freeman Scholarship Award for Excellence in Evidence from the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Prior to law school, he completed his bachelor's degree at the University of Michigan where he received the James B. Angell Scholar award and annual University Honors.
